yeah.. really.
but yes, I am happy. Kwame is developing into one of the best PF's in the Eastern Conference and soon the whole league. he's had a slow start, but he is now on the track that the Wizards chose him for.

What a weak draft class. That's the Wizards- we get the #1 during a really down year. Lebron and Yao are franchise saviors, we had to choose from a bunh of guys who need time to work to become starters, if at all. I'm pleased with the two we have-Gilbert AND Kwame. Teams have to gamble on a big man now, they've realized you can't win titles without a top post player. The days of a 6' Iverson going #1 are long gone.
I'd like to know how a player as skilled as Gilbert falls as far as he did. Overlooked in the first by every team? Sometimes players are drafted a little too high (Fred Jones, Juan Dixon), but it is surprised to see one so good, drafted so low. Did he attend pre-draft workouts? Did he just play poorly there?

You gotta imagine Nelson is drooling at the thought, as Peja could help him inch closer to his dream of averaging 300ppg.

Should the Lakers sign Latrell Sprewell?

From what I remember, Arenas was not thought of as able to play PG in the NBA full time -- thus, he was the typical undersized SG (at 6'3, 200) coming out of school. Those guys are a dime a dozen, so he probably got pushed back a bit because of it.

Yep, that'll do it- undersized guys are always getting overlooked. I don't recall much of Gil's college career, other than everyone was disappointed to see him leave school early.

I think Gasol's maxed out, Kwame has shown a great mind and ability in basketball, he still has a lot more potential.

Gasol maxed out? That's hilarious.
If he could bulk up and stop being a crybaby AND get more minutes he'd be one of the elite PF's in the NBA.

Lets see in a few years though.
Definately not Curry, because he is foul prone and not very good at defense.

I disagree with three first...
1. Wiz - Gasol
2. Clipps - Eddy (traded for Brand as the same way that Chandler was)
3. Grizz - Kwame (who can play C and PF)
