Since the Bulls are so big into signing scrubs these days, I was checking out the NBDL and Terence Morris actually looked as good as anyone.
Original thread
Terence Morris, SF
Colombus
6-9, 221, Age 25
* Didn't look horrible for the Rockets
* 11p, 8r, 2b in 27 mpg
* Shooting 38% from the 3 point line, 46% total
Morris seemed like a guy who had plenty of gifts but just seemed to be in a funk his last year in college and then beyond. He wasn't great or anything with the Rockets, obviously, but one of the things I look for is whether he is relatively productive when he did get decent minutes. Clearly, he's playing pretty efficiently and productively in the DL, but consider a few things from his stint on the Rockets last year:
When he played 20 minutes or more, the Rockets were 9-6, he shot 50% from the floor and averaged basically 7p, 5b, 1a, and 1b in 24mpg.
Then also take a look at stuff like his
Clutch stats on 82Games. Not a lot there to work with, but the indicators seem to be pointed in the right direction.
LOL, bring in all of these guys
