I was at the game and just got home quick thoughts
Kwame has really improved knows where to be Defensively ,plays under control only blocked 2 shots but changed about 3 others ,he was aggressive offensively , The Kid is starting to become a player didn't get good rebound numbers basically because the Sixers took alot of perimeter shots, good performance from the kid.
Juan Dixon took alot of shots but played really well ,attacked Iverson on both ends and was a major factor in his ability to use screens and come through screens defensively , WE HAVE A PLAYER IN DIXON
Jefferies looked really hesistant offensively knew where to be just reluctant to pull the trigger, played mostly at the 4 spot, made too many ball handling errors and looked really nervous, but he has potential to be solid.
Hughes ,everybody's down on Hughes but not from what I saw tonight, He ran the team really well especially with Dixon in the game ,he defended well, he penetrated and dished ,he's really going to be an asset with his diverse skills. He even hit some outside jumpers.
Stackhouse looked terrible, way too many forced shots, had trouble playing with continuity with teamates, too many dribble penetration turnovers, Jumper a little erratic, and defensively was roasted by Aaron Mckie, he'll be alright though he's a vet.
Brendan Haywood, he's a little troubling to me ,very lackluster effort, wasn't really a factor blocking shots or defensive rebounding did okay on the offensive glass, helps out on the perimeter guys too much needs to stay closer to the basket.
Lue okay in the first half so so in the 2nd half, he's not a true pg dribbles way too much and didn't get the team in it's offense. Philly trapped in the 2nd half and really shook Lue up with the traps, he struggled in the 2nd half although he shot the ball decently.
Russell made a couple missed a couple rather non descript game.
Overall good effort by the Wiz bright spots Kwame,Hughes and Dixon, Philly's in a world of trouble, they have a very little talent, although Salmons didn't play that bad, expect a long year for philly. Kwame's really maturing not making the mistakes and being more aggressive.
