Quick Roll Call

As the season begins I would love to know where are regulars and guest posters are from, status, etc.

I'll start:

-Grew up in Northeast DC, hence the name
-Graduated from Ballou Sr. High
-Went to Va. Tech (engineering for a while), graduated from Hawaii Pacific University (stint in the Air Force) in Business, later CPA. I'll get the masters one day.
-Married with two kids, four and one
-Work as a systems consultant (ERP) and business developer (sales)
-Live in Clifton, Va. now
-Been a fan of Wiz since mid to late 70's. I remember the Fat Lady.

Add any other information you want.

I grew up in Kentucky and the Chicago burbs (NW Indiana). Went to college at Michigan State and ended up in the DC area doing consulting work in 99. I'm also getting a Ph.D. in economics from George Mason.

Love MJ, love the Bulls, like the Wiz.

I grew up in DC and in Pg County, Was 2nd team , all met in hoops in the 80's, played 2 years of D-1 basketball at a major university in Florida, prior to that played 2 years junior college, been a Wizard/Laker fan all my life, the first game I attended live was in the 70's as a kid while visiting family in California, I went to a Laker game with an uncle and my dad ,this was before Magic was there ,I just had a ball and loved the Lakers ever since,Magic is my alltime favorite player ,meanwhile I've also been a diehard Wizard fan and all local sports teams except them damn Orioles they're preventing us from getting a baseball team back, My favorite Wizards/Bullets are Kevin Porter loved his handle, John Williams and Wes Unseld, current Wizards favoirte is Kwame Brown just want to see the kid do well ,he's had a hard life something I can relate to.

Now Married with a daughter, and has Wizard season tickets, go to all the games I can and even travel to the Philly games on the road with a friend who lives here but is from Philly. Born and Bred Dc native and sincerly hopes this Sniper is caught, it's very troubling ,I live in PG county now and this kid being shot happened around the corner from my house. So peace to all and Go Wizards.

I work in the entertainment field and graduated from the U of Md after playing in the phillipines and France for 2 years.

realgm has tweaked their pms to avoid spamming. They even had mine broken. Even though i never used it after the ban was lifted on me. They seemed rather proud of punnishing me twice. All the pms that was talked about after i was allowed back in was left in the system. My pm still doesn't work but i dont need it. So spamming realgm is not a good idea. They are off limits and have been for a long time.

Jambo,
I'm in my 50's, I grew up in South America and
came to D.C. in '69. and went to H.U.

I now live in P.G. and I have been following the Bullets/Wiz
since they moved here.

I think Abe Pollen is one of the classiest PERSONS ever. I wish the 'skins owner would be classy enough to change THEIR name.

Mambo

I really have an soft spot for Abe too. He means well in everything he does and it a hopeless optimist.

He has done a lot for the city. I hope it gets recognized on a broad scale before he leaves us.

Maybe we can give him a title in the next few years.

Nice to have a big time 'baller' on the board. Where did you go to high school and what year did you graduate?

This sniper thing is nerve racking. Hopefully they close in soon.

Whats up Northeast all I will say is I went to highschool in Pg county and graduated sometime in the 80's want to keep my anonimity if you know what I mean, I'm no big time baller just someone who was taught to play the game awhile ago by my dad and had love for it ever since, played with and against alot of cats who made it to the league, wasn't good enough to take it that far but played a few years overseas so I had fun all the way ,Man good idea about previewing each game interesting to see what all of you have to say about match-ups. We have really good discussion about the Wizards here and I look forward to that discussion all year long.

Hope I don't see you on the Post Office wall.

I think we will have a good time this year. It should be fun. We have some pretty knowlegable posters here and a lack of flamers so it should be nice.
