Kwame Brown
All of you that said Kwame is a was and a "bust", well you better start eating you <Strike>****ing</strike> words real quick suckas!
Ozzy man you know that aint even allowed man. I know you are passionate about whatever you talk about and I dig that but you know the cursing gotta go-BEEZ
Kwame Brown is having a awesome preseason, he just scored 22 points and 14 rebounds in a start for Washington last night!
And MJ is a bad GM and should not have picked Kwame
But none of you will admit your wrong anyway....

Exactly this is preseason I don't care if he is dropping a 50 pts a game he needs to do this in the regular season.

It will come, you just wait.
Damn people must be blind if they can't see that kid has skillz!
6-11, 250, really athletic, can run and jump, very agile for his size, nice touch when he is on, has a ton of shot blocking and rebounding talent, and remember he is only 19 years old! And another point being he was hand picked by probably the greatest competitor and leader to ever play the game of basketball in Michael Jordan. And then you would say MJ doesn't know talent, well I think it "takes one to know one." So that ends that argument because I believe MJ is a pretty good baller, and he still is today.....
I think Mike might know what he is talking about in the talent world.
And why did he pick Kwame over Tyson etc. Well because he thought he was more competitive, and again "takes one to know one."

I am not a fan of any 18 year old NBA player. But if it must be,Brown looks much better than last year. Seems to have good offensive rebounding technique and hustle. Wizzards can afford give him minutes, and he should progress.

Brown looks good.. can't deny it but remember in the preseason he isn't playing against the best... so I take it with a grain of salt.
Obviously, it was way too soon for people to claim he was a bust. He's too young.

Way too young to judge Kwame. As a general rule of thumb, year 3 is the best litmus to fairly judge the potential of a player. But the kid does look a lot more confident this preseason. Kwame has the skills to become a very good player.
Don't buy into MJ's 'hype' either. He's also endorsed the likes of Rodney White, Jamal Crawford, Darius Miles... and in his playing days Walter Davis, Dennis Hopson, etc. None of these guys are/were All-stars, so first things first. After Kwame shows his stuff in the regular season, he'll make a believer out of me.

Noch certainly has improved a great deal from the beginning of last year and is probably the most consistent player on our team, at least in terms of how he plays and the effort he gives. He's pretty much always turned up to 11 and it's nice to have a guy like that, even if it means dealing with the occasional mistake.
Glad he's on our side.

I saw the first game against Philly and I was impressed by Kwame ,he isn't playing nervous or confused and he's being agressive at both ends, I've argued here with people about him so to me this is sweet vindication, but he's still has a long way to go but he's coming, I always thought it was premature to call him a bust I always saw the raw skill, I think in three years we are going to look back on the 4 highschool guys from the 2001 draft and say it was one of the best with the young guys, it just takes time, everybody says it but when someone struggles people automatically jumps on the he's A BUM thing, Kwame as well as the baby Bulls are all going to be great players and that draft will reinvigorate the notion of picking highschool players, just give them time, I think its funny that people say wait until the regular season seeming as its preseason he's doing when its required which is right now, he won't get these gaudy stats when MJ and Stack get back but he'll be a productive player who's only getting better, Kwame WILL BE A STUD ONE DAY SOON. just you watch.

MJ did campaign to get the Suns' star, a former Tar Heel alumn, to run with him in his earlier years with the Bulls. Five years his senior, Davis was a good if not great player for the Phoenix Suns for 10 seasons. I was incorrect with my assessment though.... turns out Davis was a 6-time All-Star, though MJ wanted him as a running mate towards the end of his (Davis') career.

How about you "believe what you preach", becuase Rodney, Darius, and Jamal have not had there THIRD years yet! So if you were writing them off, don't be a hypocrite and believe what you say about the three year rule and put it into use with other players as well, and not just Kwame etc.

Mj's done a great job Here in Dc turned the team from an older un athletic team into a young athletic and improving team with Cap room so anybody who says he hasn't done a great job in DC hasn't been paying attention, when he started we has Mitch, Rod and Juwan, along with Ike Austin and other bums and no cap space at all, now we can compete this year and make the playoff's which a few years ago we couldn't have even thought about. Kwame is going to be fine amd MJ desrves kudos for the job he's doing as a GM.

Looks liike Jared Jeffries has a lot to do with Kwame's development. As a Wiz fan I just want us to be patient with him. After last year, Collins learned that he needed to back up. Wiz fans were fearful that he would get turned off and when (not if) he blossoms, fly away.

You're right.
Year 3 is usually the best year to fairly judge young talent. But that doesn't mean as a fan you cannot make any judgments before then. Please. I know you want your Kwame bandwagon to get bigger, but no one is jumping on it until he shows something in the regular season. Don't get me wrong, I think Kwame is going to be a very good player one day, but I'm not a believer just yet. Sorry.
I am not 'writing off' Darius, Jamal or Rodney. But MJ is a fair evaluator of talent, not the be-all and end-all of evaluators. Relax dude. Your man Kwame will have plenty of chances to prove himself this season and the next.

Thats fine, just seeing why you thought Kwame could prove himself in three years and not Jamal, Rodney and Darius.
But thats fine, just checking. Making sure you new those three have not been in there third year yet.
