I'm assuming Kwame won't be back for this game since there is only 3 games left in the season, I just hope we lose this game because ATL is on a roll and if they win and we lose its all good.
I switched up the matchups, since Billups isn't playing.
It's a bit saddening to see Detroit tearing about the league, considering 60% of their starting lineup is former Washington guys -- what-if games are my sort of thing, but you have to really think about that one.
Arenas did not get the start, as he missed the team flight to Detroit. He made it up there on his own however, so he will get some minutes. Probably not many though, judging by the amount he got last time.
I know I've mentioned this before, but if we don't trade for a better option, I'd really like to see Blake get a shot at staring alongside Arenas in the backcourt next season. Arenas just looks so much better when he's not the primary ballhandler, and Blake does a darn good job most of the time running the show.
I'm not sure where exactly that would leave Hughes though -- can he play SF? He and Stackhouse are about the same height, though Hughes must weight at least 20 pounds less. If he can't, then maybe we could just bring him off the bench. There's 96 minutes to be had in the backcourt, and if we run those three in a three man rotation, we can still swing Hughes out there for 30ish minutes or so. We could break down PG like Blake (30)/Arenas (18) and SG like Arenas (18)/Hughes(30). Those numbers aren't exact, as I'm sure we would do some small balling with all three in there, but as an estimate I don't think it sounds so bad.
Wow -- Pistons are on a 19-2 run. The wow part comes from the fact that's they've scored those 19 points in just barely over three mintues. What was a neck and neck game with five minutes left in the 3rd is now a 20 point blowout one minute into the 4th.
