Now, if you could choose a center to play alongside Kwame Brown, who wants to stay a Wizard, would it be the kind of power player, who's a major bruiser, or a decent post-up player, with more of a decent mid-range game and can knock down the J consistently (very poor man's Dirk)?
Personally, I'd choose the jumpshooter, just so that Kwame has more room to operate, and be the major point of the low-post game (with Arenas being the focal point of the perimeter). I'd hope Kwame fade back sometimes, because he DOES have a good jumper for a big, but his moves around the basket are just too good not to take advantage of. He should stay inside, and let the center be mainly a complementary rebounder, and still be able to shoot well from the midrange (unlike Haywood, who can only dunk and maybe grace us with a few hook shots every now and then)?
I am pretty sure I'm alone in this standpoint, what with everyone's very high hopes of winning the lottery to land Emeka Okafor, obviously the bruiser type. But the only question with him is the size, because Kwame should be the PF, he's said he's more comfortable there. How would the Wiz match up with a 6'9" center, who's closer to 6'8" than 6'10"? I'm not really concerned with Okafor's recent back problems, just because it's been said to be temporary and won't really pain in him in the long-run.
Anyway, which kind of player would you prefer?
GO WIZARDS!
(well, and the Nuggets, but I live around the Wiz, so it's hard not to like 'em.
