Hughes was the team MVP this year. Stack was a cancer this year. Even Gilbert has said that he doesn't even want Stack on the team. The lockerroom in general has lost respect for Stack. He's this year's version of 40 year old MJ, he has to go.

You have got to be kidding. Hughes was the teams most selfish player, on the fast break he wouldn't pass to anyone, in the half court he fostered the kind of selfishness in Arenas that tore the team apart.

Its why Kwame often complained of the selfishness.

Gilbert is hardly the one to talk about anyone when he can't come to practice ,games or shoot arounds on time.

He and Hughes essentially were the root cause we were last in assists and 1st in to's this season.

Stack's decision to shut it down was stupid on his part but the rationale behind it was sound. He was hurt not close to be the star he once was so getting healthy became his priority when the season looked like it was lost. Same decision basiclly AI and TMac made.

Hughes as the teams MVP is a joke. I love Hughes's talent but in his mind he thinks he's capable of carrying a team which he can't. He's just a role player and needs to find his role.

But Stack did it in the wrong way, basically saying that he was shutting it down before even talking to the GM and the coach, and then he was basically in and out of the line-up.

I don't know if you know this, but the Hughes led team had a better winning percentage than the Arenas/Stack led team.

The Washington Times even said that the young players have lost alot of respect for Stack.

Stack isn't capable of carrying a team either. He is past his prime. The problem is, Stackhouse would make a terrible roleplayer. Bad defense, tons of turnovers, and terrible fg%.

You can't build around Kwame/Arenas and still have Stack.

Hughes showed he could be a good roleplayer last year when he shot 46% and played very unselfishfully.

Hughes shut it down last year with minor injuries. Your arguments do not hold water.

Yes my arguments do not hold water because you said so.

Bottom line, Hughes can be a better roleplayer than Stack ever will be. Stack is 2nd in the league in Turnovers per 48 minutes right behind Gilbert F'n Arenas. They would be the most turnover prone/worst defensive backcourt in the history of the NBA.

Stack must go.

A better roleplayer? Yeah. That is what we need. Better roleplayers.
