Yeah or neah for the 5th pick.

Lets go yeah or neah for the 5th pick. Brief analysis of the players that interest you,and is it worth the pick. Irregardless of the buzz about is he worth the 5th pick.

To players I've been looking up intrigue me.

Al Jefferson- Intrigues me because of his toughness and low post skill. He can flat out score. He hustles and compete's real hard. If we lose Etan he'd be a nice, tough player to play with Kwame, with Kwame moving to center. I think this kid has a chance to be Amare Stoudemire.

Raphael Araujo- he can shoot it, he can pass it, he's tough and he has solid post offense. I think he could help us instantly. Only knock is he's not athletic. Which could be a factor. But if we need defense at the 5 we play Haywood if we need scoring and rebounding we can play Araujo.

I say Yeah for Araujo, and a mild yeah for Jefferson.

Thoughts. On these guys and anyone can pick the next couple of guys that intrigue you pick only 2( MJG, BCH, Shanghai,Shonin, havoc, Mikedc,Northeast wherever he is)

Jazzy, I like those two guys too, and I think that they'll be available long after the 5th pick.

Anyway, to be different, here's two other guys who I like, but we should probably trade down or up for:

1. Aleksander 'Sasha' Vujacic- 6'6" 193. Every report I've read about this kid says he's a real gutsy player who likes to penetrate and he's got PG skills in a SG's frame. Also he's got a beautiful shot. What's not to like? I'd like to see footage of him and compare his PG skills with, say, Shaun Livingston's.

2. Dwight Howard- 6'11 250. Have to trade up to get him, but I wonder if Howard and Kwame could coexist in the frontcourt? Physically they look really similar and I've always thought Kwame could play center. Having both of them would be an absolute matchup nightmare for most teams we play, whereas I think we could cover most other guys. Two big, strong, super athletic 6'11 guys coming at you? I like that. I also think they could have nice chemistry if they bought into the idea. Howard seems pretty well-centered, and I could see him and Kwame getting along. Or it could be a flaming disaster, you'd have to kind of feel them out about the prospect.

My thoughts on yout guys.

Al Jefferson - I saw him at the Capital Classic and it really looked to me that he had difficulty scoring. His post moves were immature, and it seemed he was used to using his frame to score on people. Once he met athleticism that could deal with his bulk, he didn't do that great, and far below his HS averages, which hardly mean anything I know. Definitely not worth a top 5, and a neah.

Rafael Araujo - Soft hands, and a rebounder. I can't remember tha last time the Wizards had a center with credentials like that. Is he better or worse than the foreign big men? I have no idea, but he would definitely help the team. A very mild yeah from me, juest because I still have hope EG finds a gem.

My guys.

Andre Igoudala - His strength and length intrigue me. If he is a true 6'6" and a SF, I would have to have him considered. His shooting was never that great, but that is always something a young player can build on. He seems to have had just enough college experience to come in and play, while having the ability to grow more. Defense firse is a trait we sorely need.

Viktor Khryapa - Another guy with length. I have not seen him play, but I have seen Kirilenko play, and even if this guy is a "poor man's" version, he could help us out. Just wishing we had a guy like Kirilenko makes me wish we could grab a guy like this, or possibly Monya. But I can't say he is worth it because I haven't seen him play.

Yeah for Igoudala and a neah on Khryapa until I see him play.

As for Mikedc I like what I'm hearing about Vujacic. I don't get how Livingston is that much better a prospect. Neither one can really shoot but I hear the Vujacic kid can really pass. Not just fancy pass but really zip it in there. My real problem with Livingston is I don't think he can guard anyone. He can't possibly play in any combination with Arenas if he can't guard. If Vujacic can gaurd we should move down and grab him.

More on Howard later.

As for BCH I too am warming up to the idea of Iguodola. I think this kid has a shot to be like the Dwayne Wade. He has the same skill sets. He can pass, he can penetrate, he's explosive and he's bigger than Wade is. I really like the fact that he went to school so he'll help a team next season. Only question I have with him is ,Is he aggressive enough does he have the WADE MOTOR so to speak. Were his college stats limited because of the surrounding talent at Zona. If thats the case we should take him no doubt.

Khryapa- is intriguing. I here he's just about a Kirilenko clone. I have talked to someone who i trust and has seen him play. And they tell me he has the same uncanny feel for the game. I here he's not a scorer but makes plays that leads to scores. If we get multiple 1st rd picks I heard he's well worth taking.

Howard if we could get him is a no brainer. BUT I'm not sure I want to overreach and give up a Vet for him.

I compare Howard to a young Vin Baker or Cliff Robinson. He's not ultra aggressive. He could in a couple years but that has been Kwame's problem. I'd like to see someone countrary to Kwame's personality come in beside him. But if Howard fell to us of course. Not sure I'd trade to get him.
