Fools.... Arenas = Trash

I wouldn't trade the #6 pick for Arenas

Maybe that would be the case in a stronger draft. But in a crapshoot like this, Arenas is worth much more than the #6 pick. Tell me what player you will get at #6 that is better than Gilbert.

Dwight Howard (trade up with the #6) and Josh Smith I'd rather have than Arenas......... Arenas is nice but won't ever be the #1 option on a championship contender.

Dwight Howard is the only player in this draft with franchise talent and potential, I highly doubt Atlanta is going to get him. I doubt anyone in this draft is going to be a #1 option on a Championship team. Their's only about 5 guys in the NBA you can call a legit #1 option on a championship team.

From all reports, Josh Smith doesn't have the handles to create his own shot and is basically just a dunker/shooter right now. Arenas meanwhile is only 22 and is already a 20/5/5 player.

20/5/5 on one of the worst teams in the NBA doesn't scream star, maybe its just me... and I disagree about Josh, did you watch those all-star games? I know they don't tell all, but he can create and drive.

Your right about one thing, All-star games don't tell you anything.

Arenas put up just as good numbers on a better Golden State team last year. That team had Jamison, J-Rich, Dunleavy, Dampier, Foyle, Boykins, Troy Murphy, and Arenas was still the best player on that team which would of been a 5-6 seed in the East. This year the Wizards would of made the playoffs if healthy.
