The Arkansas ArchAngels had five players score at least 10 points Thursday, but turnovers helped the Mississippi Hardhats rally for a 109-105 victory.
Brandon Freeman led all scorers with 28 points. Marcus Campbell and Michael Joiner added 18 each for the ArchAngels, while Campbell also had 14 rebounds and Joiner 8. Arkansas also got 15 points from Marco Cole and 10 points and 6 assists from Garrett Richardson.
The ArchAngels led the first three quarters, but Mississippi tied the game at 100-100 in the fourth as Arkansas struggled to maintain possession of the ball.
Arkansas finished with 27 turnovers. Arkansas’ next scheduled game is tonight at 7 against Magic City Court Kings at Carver High School in Birmingham, Ala.
