The Cartersville Warriors, a franchise in the minor-league World Basketball Association, will be hosting the Anderson (S.C.) Heat tonight at the J.H. Morgan Gym on Aubrey Street.

Tipoff time for the game is set for 7:30 p.m. and subsequent home games are scheduled to be played at Cass High.

The team started the 2006 season as the Griffin Warriors, but the team was unable to secure a home court in Griffin, thus necessitating the move to Cartersville.

The Warriors, who are coached by David Archer Jr. of Cartersville, are off to a 2-2 start. Their next home game after tonight will be on May 14 against the Marietta Storm.
