Glads fall to Majic
The Rome Gladiators continued to find the road a hard one Friday night when they dropped a 121-119 decision to the Cleveland Majic in Cleveland, Tenn.
The loss was the second straight road defeat for the Gladiators, who opened the season winning their first two home games.
“It just wasn’t a good game,” Gladiators coach Harold Ellis said. “I do know that there will be some changes made.”
Lamar Castille led the Gladiators connecting for 27 points, while Sean Fountain added 23 and Ray Cunningham had 22.
The Gladiators remain on the road on Monday when they visit the Druid City Dragons in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
