WBA Tryout Camp big success

The WBA held its 2006 Tryout Camp at Life University in Marietta, GA and had 160 players attend the camp on March 24-25. This was one of the largest tryout camps that the WBA has ever had and the League is extremely excited about the talent that was assembled at this years tryout camp!

"It was definitely an exciting couple of days at Life University working with the young men that attended our WBA Tryout Camp! We had a lot of players there interested in playing in our Pro Basketball League. I was impressed with the effort and talent level of the players in attendence! I would have to say that the camp was a big success in every way." states WBA Tryout Camp Director and Head Coach of the Murfreesboro Musicians, Coach Steve Tucker.

The WBA Tryout Camp is an annual event for the World Basketball Association, and has grown dramatically over the past four years! The League held a Five Round Draft at the end of the camp on Saturday afternoon, March 25th, and 55 players were drafted onto WBA Team Rosters. The players not drafted were placed in a Player Pool and can be signed by any team in the WBA now or during the upcoming 2006 Season, which tips-off on April 21st.
