ROME, GA- The Rome Gladiators signed 2 new players on Monday. The Gladiators welcome free agents Rasheed Wright (6'5'') and George Leach (6'11).

Wright played his college ball at ODU and was the #1 scorer in the French League for St. Vallier. Leach played at Indiana where he ended his college career as 4th on the all time leading shot blocker list for the Hoosiers. Leach was also in camp with the Charlotte Hornets last summer and competed in 47 games with the Florida Flames of the NBA D-League averaging 8.3points and 5.3 rebounds per game during the 05-06 season. Leach is also no stranger to the WBA, the 6'11 post player was named to the 2005 WBA All-Defense team as a member of the Gulf Coast Bandits.

The Gladiators return home Wednesday night to take on Murfreesboro looking to avenge their lost on the road last week against the Musicians.
