Re: Gonzaga Recruting Update for 2006
Deane, Stinnet and Vazquez intrigue me the most.....I highly doubt Nelson will sign with a small school....
Stinnet is visiting this weekend, here's his coaches thoughts

"P'Allen is down to Iowa State, Gonzaga and Arizona State," said [AAU coach] Brown. "He does like Gonzaga a lot. If he really likes it up there, then who knows what he will do.

Having watched some clips of his game, Stinnet reminds me a lot of Errol Knight and I think he would be a perfect athletic type player to replace him...
I'm still excited about Heytvelt, Gurganious, Diallo and hopefully Pargo coming in and making an immediate impact as well as some more maturation from Raivio and Cespedes...This team is going to be one of the deepest in the nation...
Were looking at a starting 5 of:
PG Raivio
SG Knight
SF Morrison
PF Batista
C Heytvelt
With a bench of Doudney, Cespedes, Mallon, Pendergraft, Gurganious
Pretty darn solid team if you ask me....

After taking official visits to Stanford and Kansas, Daniel Deane is ready to take another step forward in his recruitment. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Park City, Utah., is scheduled to take an official visit to Gonzaga this coming weekend. There is a chance that Deane, the No. 117 ranked player in the class of 2006, will make a decision shortly after he returns home from his visit to Gonzaga.

Daniel Deane would be a heck of a pickup, he's like Mark Madsen with a jumpshot...I'm starting to get more and more excited about Gonzaga this coming season...

I used to....But I mainly just read there....It seems like the guys who post their are a lot more old school in their logic, so i tend to just sit back and read some of their insights....

BTW, Morrison will be POY......Gonzaga basketball has a bright future....
