we're just about to tip it off. this is as big a game as any for pepperdine for a lot of reasons. it is a chance to bounce back and get back on pace after dropping the first game to dayton.

although it is a catch phrase used by espn, it is also true:

"EVERY GAME COUNTS!!"

great first half!! fast pace and some exciting plays. pepperdine trails by 1. this would be a HUGE win if they pull this out. if not, it certainly isn't the end of the world, but with the expectations this pepperdine team had i bet they'd like to win one of their first two at home. this would be a great win for pepperdine if they can pull it out.
