well, this is sort of a cop-out answer i guess. i think they should play each other every year, but play each other for one of those preseason exhibtion games. hawaii has nothing to gain from playing this team. if they were to play each other ten times and chaminade won one out of the ten, it would still be a loss for hawaii because the nine wins wouldn't count on any level when it came to the rpi or the selection committee.

however, they are neighbors, it would stir up interest locally, and they should play. play each other in exhibiton games and make it an annual event. they could even put the game on tv out in hawaii. cincinnati plays northern kentucky every year under those circumstances and the game is often sold out.

No. It's bad enough Hawaii can't get any good home games because no one wants to fly to Hawaii and risk a loss, but it's a waste of a major pay-day game they could get for going on the road to play a major team.
