Veteran guard Vickie Johnson signed with the San Antonio Silver Stars on Thursday.

Johnson, a two-time All-Star, joins San Antonio after nine seasons in New York. She is the Liberty's all-time leader in points, rebounds, games, minutes played, field goals made and attempted, and free throws made and attempted.

One of nine active players remaining from the WNBA's inaugural 1997 season, Johnson is ninth on the league's all-time scoring list with 3,246 points and sixth with 787 assists.

"We are very fortunate to have someone with Vickie's resume joining the Silver Stars," San Antonio head coach and general manager Dan Hughes said in a release. "She has been a remarkably consistent performer throughout her career and were thrilled to add her veteran leadership to the team."
