The Seattle Storm signed free agent forward Wendy Palmer-Daniel on Wednesday, adding a veteran to Seattle's youthful lineup. Seattle will be the sixth team and fifth franchise for Palmer-Daniel, with previous stops at Utah, Detroit, Orlando, Connecticut and San Antonio. She is one of eight players to have played in all nine WNBA seasons.
"My experience in the WNBA will be a nice addition to the young, talented Storm roster," Palmer-Daniel said in a statement.
Palmer-Daniel averaged 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in 25 games last season for San Antonio, which moved from Utah in 2003. She's averaged 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in her career, and shared the league's most improved player award in 2004.
