The Storm signed two free agents to its training-camp roster Thursday.

Center Tiffani Johnson and guard Toccara Williams will vie for one of the reserve spots on Seattle's roster.

The 6-foot-4 Johnson, 30, started for Houston's 2000 WNBA-championship team, but the Comets released her at the end of training camp last summer. In six WNBA seasons, she averaged 4.5 points and 4.2 rebounds. Johnson is currently playing in Europe.

Gotta wonder what AD is thinking bringing Big Tiff into camp. She is no where near the calibre of player one finds in a post position playing for Donovan. This just has disaster written all over it, unless Johnson is on a mission to get herself back into the WNBA. If that is the case, she has gotten into a golden situation, playing on a contender.

Toccara Williams might be a good fit for them, too. They need a backup guard, that's for sure.
