The Indiana Fever open training camp today without Tamika Catchings and several other players who are still overseas.

The Fever begin the WNBA season May 20 against the Detroit Shock at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Catchings, a perennial All-Star who was third in league Most Valuable Player voting last year, is playing in the Russian league playoffs for her team, Spartak Moscow.
One of her Moscow teammates is Linda Frohlich, who was acquired by the Fever in the offseason.
Other Fever players overseas are Tan White (Turkey), Anna DeForge (Poland) and Tamika Whitmore (France). Whitmore was selected MVP of the French league.
Those playing overseas are due to report to camp by May 4 or 5.
