More Liberty Notes
SPLITTING THE DIFFERENCE: Over the past nine years, New York has had split results in pre-season competition. The Liberty holds an 11-11 (.500) all-time record in exhibition play.
UP FOR THE CHALLENGE: The Liberty is not one to shy away from a challenge... They come right out of the gates looking to test themselves... For the past few seasons, New York has used the pre-season to go up against the best in the WNBA - by playing the defending champs... This season, the Liberty will be going up against the defending WNBA Champion Sacramento Monarchs, as well as the 2004 Champion Seattle Storm... Last season, the Liberty tested its skills against Seattle, the then-defending champion, and the 2003 Champion Detroit Shock.
