Phoenix Mercury to Paint US Airways Center Pink on August 13
The Phoenix Mercury will host its annual Breast Health Awareness night on Sunday, August 13, the final regular season home game of the 2006 season.
Starting August 3, fans can submit a name of a friend or family member who has been affected by breast cancer. That name will be posted on a window in the US Airways Center main entrance until August 13.
In addition, everyone who submits a name will be entered to win tickets to see Grammy-winning artist Melissa Etheridge at Dodge Theatre on August 29, an autographed guitar from Melissa or autographed Mercury merchandise.
In addition, giveaways on August 13 include a pink 22 oz cup courtesy of Tab Energy, pink boas from the Arizona Department of Health Services and pink pom-poms courtesy of Banner Health.

TIME: Tip-off is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
WHERE: U.S. Airways Center
THE TEAM: The Mercury kept its playoff hopes alive Tuesday and made some history in the process with a 99-68 win over the visiting Minnesota Lynx. The Mercury is in Texas to face Houston on Thursday and San Antonio on Saturday. Phoenix must win all of its three remaining games to clinch a playoff spot.
Mercury All-Star Diana Taurasi scored 21 points to break the WNBA single-season record and has 758 for the season, eclipsing the old mark of 739.
