Lisa Leslie scored 24 points to lead the playoff-bound Los Angeles Sparks to a 76-59 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The Sparks (25-9) enter the playoffs with the WNBA's best home record at 15-2. They already had clinched the Western Conference title. Los Angeles will open the playoffs Friday at Seattle.
Rookie Seimone Augustus scored 11 points to set a team record for most points in a season for the Lynx (10-24), who lost nine of their final 10 games to finish with the worst record in their eight-season history. Augustus scored 744 points, bettering the mark of 739 set by Katie Smith in 2001.
Svetlana Abrosimova added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Lynx, whose worst season had been 2002, when they finished 10-22.
