LOS ANGELES - Lisa Leslie scored 24 points, leading the playoff-bound Los Angeles Sparks to a 78-59 victory over the Lynx on Sunday night.
Rookie Seimone Augustus had 11 points and set a team record for points in a season for the Lynx (10-24), who lost nine of their final 10 games and finished with the worst record in team history. Augustus scored 744 points, bettering the mark of 739 set by Katie Smith in 2001.
Murriel Page added 14 points and Doneeka Hodges-Lewis had nine assists for the Sparks (25-9), who enter the playoffs with the WNBA's best home record at 15-2. They had already clinched the Western Conference division title.
Los Angeles will open the playoffs Friday at Seattle.
