Reeve, the Shock's first-year assistant coach, is the team's scouting guru. During practices, she sometimes works with the Shock's guards, but there's one thing she brings that makes her an invaluable asset to the players: preparation.
Her work with the team helped the Shock to a 23-11 regular-season record and the second seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Shock opens its first-round, best-of-three series at Indiana on Thursday night.
After practice, Reeve arms herself with her laptop and hours of WNBA footage from the team's video coordinator, orders her favorite meal, and studies film for the rest of the day.
