Umaga is undeniably one of the best "monster heels" of the past 10 years. Undeniably.

Re: No Mercy Discussion Thread
So, if I understand this right, they award Orton the belt, and he has a 15-minute reign before Triple H schoolboys him. Then, Triple H could possibly have a two-hour reign with one title defense (Umaga) before losing the belt back to Orton?
I defend WWE's decisions against some of the add-nothing-to-the-conversation posters here who just have an irrational need to second-guess and play "armchair quarterback" on everything they do. But that is one bonehead sequence. It really leaves a black eye on the belt's chronology. Part of the reason the IC Title got devalued even before the brand split is because the belt changed hands almost literally every other week.
I'm not saying I love year-long title reigns in this era, but three title changes in one PPV just reeks of WCW or AWA in their dying days.

I just told an alternative (emphasizing how absolutely stupid an idea it would be to have Orton win back the belt, and how the whole thing was started with the inherently stupid idea of handing the belt over to Orton instead of having him win it in a match) version of this post to my roommate.

Re: No Mercy Discussion Thread
the whole thing is f`n retarded. why didnt they just have a fatal 4 way (triple h, umaga, orton, jeff hardy or mr kennedy). wouldve made a tons better match and night. I already can guess that triple h is gonna win with the sledge hammer. Ill be damned surprised if he doesnt.
