Re: Wrestling Stable Draft
I concur with E. Ville. I'd absolutely be in, if we tried to choose based on people who would actually fit together. I'd suggest that we could do it based on tiers if we could get everyone to agree to the tiers themselves. But that might be too difficult.

Re: Wrestling Stable Draft
Why not have different groups of posters form a federation and then make picks. If we go the individual route, theres no doubt a couple of posters will get shafted. There are only so many great Wrestlers to pick from.

Re: Wrestling Stable Draft
As has been said, make pre-determined tiers and whatnot beforehand, and I'm in.

like a brand wars type of thing?that would be interesting. like 4 brands, 3 guys per. we could go further and do the gm booking thing we've done a few times, but im not sure if it could get the interest necessary. With all of the ideas here, we could probably run 5 different ones.
I think at the moment though, it looks like most are for tiers and only current guys, although i could be wrong. If that is true, I think we'd just need to know the number of rounds, how to determine the tiers, what federations we can draft from, and set up a basic drafting system.

Re: Wrestling Stable Draft
Personally I am not for the tiers idea and will probablly stay out of the way if that is the route chosen to take. I think the only tiers you should have are for Divas and Managers for two seperate final rounds. I originally liked the stable draft idea because it would be fun to create your own stable how you see fit, and create your own Tag Teams or leaders or w/e you want. If you start laying down specifics of what and when you can draft you might as well just draft from stables that have already existed. The only reason I even say a seperate round for Divas and Managers is because no one is going to want to waist one of the first 5 picks on them anyways.
Anyways just my opinion but Ill prolly bow out if you start getting into Brands, and different federations and tiers and all that stuff.
