Wrestling Stable Draft Sign-Up
Here are the general rules, changeable given a consensus vote.
There will be 4 Rounds. Only wrestlers who have wrestled multiple matches in 2008 are draftable (Sorry RVD). Since most people here only know WWE and TNA, they will be the only wrestlers available. There will be a 4-round serpentine draft, the order will be established by random. Afterwards, there will be 2 simultaneous drafts, 2 rounds each, both serpentine. The first will be women wrestlers and valets/managers. One will compete against other women, the other will be the speaker for the team (most of the time, or they can split it with an active wrestler on the team.) Whichever order you wish to pick them in is up to you. But you must have one of each. The other draft will be a tag-team draft. You can take any available wrestlers, one at a time. The two that you take together in these two rounds will be put together in a tag-team. If you draft Paul London in the first round, but someone else grabs Brian Kendrick before your next pick, for example, you must take someone in the second round who will tag with London.
Trades are allowed, but due to the separate drafts, they get a bit complicated. You must take back the same amount of wrestlers that you give up. You must always have 4 from the main draft, 2 from the tag draft, and 2 from the manager/women draft (1 of which will have to be a woman.)
There will be 8 stables, so there will be 8 spots available. If there are no open spots when you want to join, you can ask to be a "consultant" or partner of another. But both parties have to agree. I will not be participating, unless we only get 7 members signed-up. I will also be the last resort back-up, if one wants to drop out, and there are no reserves remaining.
Once the draft is done, there will be a tournament, matches will be random. There will be a poll to vote on each matchup. Stables should be evaluated on the talent of the team, along with how well they match as a team. A team of talented misfits may get less votes than a team of worse guys that fit together perfectly. Before the match-ups begin, you should do a write-up (short or long, however you prefer) of how your team got together. I'm also thinking of letting you guys write a promo bashing the other team, and the managers of each team getting together through PMs or IMs to work out a card (not write up what happens in a match, just what the matches are). I'll let you guys vote or let your opinions known on this when you sign up. Also, your stable will need a name, but I'll let you guys pick those after the draft, or whenever you want, when you know who will be on your team.
I know that was a pretty long write-up, but whatcha gonna do?

Wade accomplished this in two consecutive series in the 2005 playoffs.

3. Holds the record for being the only player in NBA history to ever average at least 30 points on 69.5 field goal percentage for four consecutive NBA playoff series games (5/23/06-5/29/06). The last record was held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 63%. Wade accomplished it with less than 20 field goal attempts per game
4. Fifth player in NBA history with at least 30 points, 15 assists and 5 rebounds in a playoff game (5/10/05 vs. WAS). The others are Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Walt Frazier and Oscar Robertson.

No, I think it's good to have an impartial commissioner to settle disputes without bias. also, in case the only people who bother to vote are those in the league, I could be the tiebreaker.
Did you want to join?

Re: Wrestling Stable Draft Sign-Up
I've gotten back interested in wrestling the last couple months, so I'll sign up. But if there are any regular wrestling posters who want to be in, I ahve no problem giving them priority in participating.
