Re: WWE Releases A Bunch of People (5/29: Mr. Kennedy released)
Finally. Mr. Kennedy sucked. Always looked like he had no idea what he was doing in a ring, and his gimmick was ****ing stupid as ****. Boring.

Hes small and isnt as good a worker in-ring as the smaller guys like Jericho or Hardy. He gets by via the mic but really his character/gimmick isnt all too great. He'll find a niche in TNA, but I dont think hes a big loss for the WWE...

Re: WWE Releases A Bunch of People (5/29: Mr. Kennedy released)
The early word on why Mr. Kennedy received his surprising release from World Wrestling Entertainment
yesterday was that in addition to injuring himself yet again, his nearly injuring Randy Orton was the straw that broke the camel's back. Kennedy returned to RAW this past Monday night after spending ten months on the shelf rehabbing a badly injured shoulder. In his first match back, during a spot in the main event with Randy Orton, Kennedy injured his wrist. However the more important issue in the eyes of WWE management was that Orton nearly re-injured his bad shoulder as a result of an errant move on the part of Kennedy. According to sources, Orton and Kennedy had words backstage after the show, although it was said it wasn't heated. Apparently Orton very calmly dressed Kennedy down, explaining he has to be more careful so he doesn't injure anyone else in the ring. WWE.com confirmed the release of Mr. Kennedy on the website yesterday in their "Industry News" tab. http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/arti...-release-77935 Who says the WWE doesn't play favorites? |

Re: WWE Releases A Bunch of People (5/29: Mr. Kennedy released)
So Elijah Burke, Ken Doane aka Kenny Dykstra, and now Mr. Kennedy. WWE got rid of 3 guys who have more all around skills both on the mic and in the ring then half the roster if not more. If I am TNA i jump all over this and sign these 3. Bring them in, let them be themselves really, and start your own version of the attitude era in TNA in a way.

Re: WWE Releases A Bunch of People (5/29: Mr. Kennedy released)
they gave the guy way too many chances as it was. this is the same guy that changed his finisher like 3 times in a 5 month timespan. the same guy that spoke out against steroids on tv after the benoit scandal, and then a week later tested positive.. plus hes injury prone and wasnt that great in the ring as it was. even his mic schick was getting old. burke and dykstra were fantastic in the ring. burke was black and kenny was just too thin to get ahead.

Re: WWE Releases A Bunch of People (6/8: Umaga released)
Bad cut, but given the fact that WWE did a horrible job with Umaga, who is extremely talented, maybe this works out well for him. He can easily hop into TNA as a player.
