i havent seen anything about this yet but i do know Gavin Spears was release also a few days ago without anything beside posted on WWE.com so maybe it was the same day

but it sucks Holly could have been good on ECW

In terms of kayfabe, how do you explain Val Venis' career arc? Dude was at the top of the Intercontinental ranks for several years. Then he went Right to Censor and then Chief Morley, and once he returned to being Val Venis, he never recovered. He just got beat over and over and over for like six years. He was a legit intercontinental champion. Did he just forget how to wrestle? Surely not. It's not like he's some geezer like Ron Simmons, Sgt. Slaughter or Jim Duggan whose "skills" have just diminished with age. Did Val get figured out by everyone -- was the book just "out" on him?

Is there an NBA comparison for this kind of phenomenon where wrestlers have some success but then (once they lose their fan interest) they not only turn into jobbers but are jobbers for years and years.

Ron Mercer maybe? Nick Anderson?

Its too bad they never gave Colt Cabana a shot really...But this could work out well for him since he will most likely return to ROH and with them having their own tv show now he could show WWE they should have let him be himself

WWE really ****ed up with "Goldman". If they would have given him the push they gave Ortiz, he would be completely over right now, instead of gone from the company.
