Re: Best of WCW Nitro
Im definitely going to have to add this to my collection. I've been waiting a long time for this. I'm glad WWE doesn't just pretend WCW never existed as it's great to see DVD's being released for all the big fans from the 90's. I wouldn't mind seeing them releasing special DVD's on specific WCW wrestlers like DDP and Goldberg or even a DVD for their cruiserweights division.

Re: Best of WCW Nitro
This is a must see DVD, along with other WWE DVD's I've yet to see. It's funny - now I'm appreciating WCW more now ten years after the demise as WWE has no major competitor and I was a WWF guy growing up. The nWo was the best thing WCW had going in the mid-late '90's but they ran it into the ground. Also, I disagree that were no original superstars out of WCW. After, there was DDP, Goldberg, The Giant, Sting, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio amongst others.

Re: Best of WCW Nitro
I'm almost to the half way mark on disc 3 and it's funny how before they show anything DDP talks about how 99 was the year you could feel the air being let out. Then the first match they show is the finger poke of doom which I remember sitting down and watching live. Didn't think it was horrible at the time but looking back it was the beginning of the end. At this point I'm on the part where Vince Russo was an on screen terrible which is just bad.

Re: Best of WCW Nitro
Commentators kill me...how you gonna know what kind of match you're getting into (the William Regal vs Bruiser hardcore match) then be like "this is too extreme we're about to just show the skyline" |

Re: Best of WCW Nitro
The best parts of WCW shows was when something was suppose to happen and it didn't for whatever reason whether it was botch or no show. Happened often. Oh, and I can't count on one hand out many times the nWo theme would play during Nitro since every wrestler that was in the group had that theme.

Re: Best of WCW Nitro
I enjoyed the DVD but it definitely showed why WCW no longer exists. Some of the stuff on the third disc is just embarrassing.
