i've read the spoilers for this weeks smackdown. disappointed to say the least.

spoiler alert
the superstars basically all go and wrestle on the smackdown brand, and cut promos saying that until HHH steps down as COO, they wont be wrestling on the raw brand. that would make sense if HHH was raw COO. but no, he's the WWE COO.

Smackdown is horse shit, I'm glad I rarely watch it. Josh Matthews and Booker together is just embarrassing.

Yeah its a damn shame cause back in the day Smackdown was sick. They had some classics like Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle in a 60 minute iron man match but now it's just garbage tag-team main events. If Smackdown ever comes to Winnipeg I don't think I would even bother going.

Not feeling too good tonight so I'm staying in. Obviously nothing on TV on a friday night so I'm giving Smackdown another shot. Actually not too bad so far. There has actually been WRESTLING. I don't get what they are doing with Daniel Bryan though. Show starts off with Mark Henry brutally assaulting Daniel Bryan. Ever since he's won the briefcase they have done nothing with him. Main-event is a tag team match (what a surprise) with Orton and Sheamus taking on Rhodes and Barrett. Overall pretty solid card but still hasn't done anything to get me hyped for Survivor Series.

Am I the only one who thinks that Mark Henry has been pretty good the past few months? They have done a great job of building him up as a heel and he has been very consistent in his actions. Whereas Big Show has become flat out predictable and boring. I never found him particularly intriguing, but his current character is just awful:

"...if I go into Survivor Series with all the rage and all the anger I have in my heart right now, you know what's gonna happen, I'm gonna get myself disqualified... and we don't want that, do we!? (kids chant "noooo") What we want is, we want the Big Show to beat Mark Henry and become the new World Heavyweight Champion, don't we!? (kids chant "yeeeaaaaah")

I've never been a fan of the Big Show and he continues to give me more and more reasons to not like him. I would be SHOCKED if he beats Henry tomorrow.

The Great Khali had a match tonight right after they showed the Bruno Sammartino Hall of Fame announcement again and when Khali was making his entrance Josh Matthews said "And here comes a future hall of famer!"

And this is why I never watch SmackDown.

I can't believe Khali is still in the WWE. Nobody cares about him. He gets zero reaction. He's not funny. He's just a tall mother****er who can't do anything.

Anyone else genuinely interested in the Del Rio / Big Show feud? I haven't watched any of it on Smackdown, but from what I've seen on RAW there's been a pretty good face/heel interaction going on. I really like Del Rio as a face, of course Ricardo helps a lot.

I'm not enjoying it. I appreciate all Big Show has done and I actually like him, but I think his time in the main event scene needs to be going away now.

Mark Henry being back is good for the main event on Smackdown.
