Smackdown Discussion Thread
We all know that most of you only watch Raw around here and there would be no point having a thread for each Smackdown show on here, so we'll just keep any talk about Smackdown in here.
Tonight Orton faces Kane in a Street Fight. Hopefully Kane stays away from the main event scene. Christian/Orton feud was good, but now I don't see where they're going to go. They can't do Christian/Orton again at a PPV, so either they have to bring up a new face (Bryan I guess?), or make the next PPV a triple threat by throwing Sheamus in there or maybe Barrett? REMEMBER TO USE SPOILER TAGS IF YOU HAVE ANY

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
I think they're going to continue Orton/Christian through SummerSlam and then have both guys move on (hopefully with Christian as champion still).

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
Pretty good show tonight to be honest.
I feel filthy, but I actually liked a match involving Heath Slater. Heath. ****ing. Slater. To be fair, he was against Daniel Bryan, who once again put on a brilliant showing. Bryan won via submission with a sleeper hold type thing, that looked like he was going to do a DDT from the top turnbuckle but he wrapped his legs round Heath instead. However Bryan, you saying you'll be the first MITB winner to announce when they are going to cash in is just, false. Ever heard of Rob Van Dam? Orton vs Kane was pretty good, Orton beat Kane and then they shook hands after. Kane looked pretty devastated after, guess they're going to go with him on a losing streak or something. Henry attacked him after and did the splash onto the chair that he did to Big Show. All in all, good show. Oh, one last thing. I know wrestling real, but I just cannot believe for one second that Christian could beat Zeke clean. He should have DQ'd himself or something, because Zeke is far too big for Christian to go over clean.

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
I wouldn't be surprised if this storyline leads to a retirement angle. I'm not sure if there's a credible way to get the mask back on him, and he's not really credible enough to put over younger stars nowadays.

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
Heath Slater isn't that bad of a wrestler - it's just that he looks so ****ing goofy all the time.
Don't forget about Mr. Kennedy who also proclaimed the same thing Daniel Bryan did tonight. |

And that's true, well remembered. Silly Bryan.

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
By the way, Christian winning clean is a great thing. Too many heels have resort to cheating to win. The fact he got a clean pin makes his reign seem more credible from the get go.

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
Winning clean, yes. Winning clean against Zeke, one of the biggest superstars in WWE, by using the Unprettier? Not a fan.
I feel they should be billing Zeke as an unstoppable force who just runs through people, and dominates. Early Big Show dominance where everyone was scared. He's got the size. Give him a mouthpiece and some practice on his wrestling ability and you have a great heel there. So like Big Show mixed with Lesnar. (let me just state the only Lesnar like quality would be the dominance and the mouthpiece)

Re: Smackdown Discussion Thread
I'm really not too sure.
In a perfect world, he'd cash in straight after a big face has won, and go Bryan Danielson heel. That's my favourite work of his, when he was a heel.
