well to be fair.. we all know that the funkasaurus gimmick is for nothing but a mid card type guy and will have an incredibley short shelf life.. how the hell do you even start a fued up with the a guy in that gimmick, he is like a modern day disco inferno... i honestly enjoy what brodus has done so far but i can see vinces's concerns in general when it comes to the character

I'm sure there was something he could do. Sheamus had about a whole couple months of squashes just recently and then won the Rumble.

Why not keep the guy for comedic relief and some decent mid card matches that people are actually interested in? It would make Jack Swagger matches a whole lot ****ing better.

I agree that they should have maybe milked it out a bit more than they have, he was getting a good response and to be honest i am shocked the wwe didnt roll with it a little bit longer... but long run its still a go nowhere type gimmick that has no chance of ever cracking the top of the card.. alot of guys have made nice careers for themselves with roles like that (the godfather for example) but if they feel that brodus can be more than that then fine tuning his character and ring work is the right thing to do

The Funkasaurus gimmick was going nowhere so it is the right move...Brodius Clay needs a gimmick that can last and one that he can have feuds with not just be a guy that squashes people he needs to be a monster heel

they also need to put some kind of pants on him lol

If I wanted to see guys without gimmicks fight I'll just watch UFC. I'm sick of this reality gimmick shit, watching two bad actors in the ring doing marginally decent moves (and mostly just boring strikes) in trunks is not something that's exciting, Vince.
