Shawn Michaels is driving around in an early 2000 model Taurus?

Okay, I think the show was okay. Which I'm happy with. I like that the show's overall quality has improved and hopefully it continues to stay that way.

With that said, these touts that they show during the show featuring the WWE fans giving their own opinions are...mind numbingly stupid. I can't tell if these are just fake fans WWE pays to pretend they care and or don't know it's all scripted, marks who are so sad that they are grown ups and yet don't know it's scripted, or just doing these just so they can get on TV. Regardless, each one is the same. They all sound ****ing stupid. And that one where there were like three people in the tout video...just wow.

It's still real to them.

I disagree that the show has improved. The Punk/Cena/Show/Bryan and Jericho/Ziggler/Miz storylines get about 30-40 percent more match time than they otherwise would, and there is minimal more time to develop characters like Damian Sandow and Brodus Clay. Aside from that, it's the same old crap and even more time devoted to incessant garbage like RAWactive, Tout, D-list celebrities and extended recaps.

Agreed. While I don't mind a good storyline getting more time every week (storylines without Big Show), I want to see more development with Sandow and the mid-card.

Couldn't disagree more dude. Even the divas matches are getting more airtime. You can't just say that those matches are the only ones getting more airtime. All of the matches are. And even if what you said there were true, that would still be an improvement. Before, the main matches didn't get much airtime at all. In this three weeks of having Raw be three hours, they've had more good matches then the 2 hour version of Raw did all year. How can you say that isn't an improvement?? I agree the more time being devoted to all the pointless crap like the touts and the idiotic celebrities (seriously WWE? We're back to having those idiots from Jershy Shore appear on the show?!) is a definite downgrade but being a guy who cares just mostly about the matches, having more lengthy and good matches is fine by me.

Please stop doing Piper's Pit. Roddy Piper is ****ing awful. When The Miz came out and he kept chanting "Y2J" like a dumbass, I just wanted to turn the TV off but I'm glad I didn't because that triple threat match(Ziggler vs. Miz vs. Jericho) was awesome. I can't believe nobody mentioned anything about that in this thread. That's definitely one of the best matches I've seen on Raw in a long ass time.

Re: Monday Night Raw [CM Punk vs. Big Show; HBK Live - 08/13/12]

I will say it again WWE should have hit a reset button when they switch to 3 Hour Raws...They havent been building anyone new. The Tag Team Divison is still crap and giving Miz the IC title was a start but its not enough for the mid card. Its the same crap they been pushing for the last 5 years with some changes in Punk and Bryan being Main Events. But when Big Show is also main eventing that just screw everything up

I really hoping to see Seth Rollins on the main roster soon. Maybe he can changes things up a bit im hoping they push him right into a feud with Punk/Bryan or Ziggler would be epic

As noted earlier, there was talk last month about making the "Legends" segments a recurring feature on RAW. At the time, Vince McMahon was said to have been leaning towards it and utilizing legends under a blanket legends deal.
Since then, Vince has turned down several pitches to continue featuring legends on RAW each Monday. Roddy Piper's poor performance last night did not help matters.

According to a source, Vince was screaming into his headset during the segment. Michael Cole's line about the segment "starting to stink" obviously came from Vince. Don't expect Piper to pop up with another "Piper's Pit" any time soon.

At least Vince realized how bad it was as well.

I've hated Piper's Pit since 2006 when I first started watching wrestling. I thought maybe my opinion was unpopular because no one really mentions it, but I guess Piper has been so bad over the years no one bothers to say anything anymore. Kinda like the divas.
