Guys like Lawler, Hogan, Flair, etc. need to stop getting physically involved. It's not healthy for them. **** trying to entertain the fans - focus on your health.

So apparently Lawler was clinically dead for 20 mins. The EMT's basically saved his life since they responded immediately. If this happened in a place where he wasn't able to receive immediate medical attention, he would of been dead.

Loved the final segment. Punk, Cena & Bret all did an excellent job selling Night of Champions. I'm excited for it. I also thought Mysterio, Rhodes & Miz did told an excellent story as well. Clear to see what was going on there with no commentating during the match. Should be an awesome triple threat match for the IC title.

Apparently he's having heart surgery today and will have a stent put in.

Apparently Lawler still wrestles in Memphis on the weekends from time to time. I didn't know this. It's better if he doesn't wrestle again.

Lawler won't be back. He's done. If what they're telling us is true and he was really clinically dead for 20 minutes, regardless of whether or not he makes it out of this alive, the damage has already been done. For being in that state for 20 minutes, his brain most likely got damaged. He's definitely retiring after this.

Ya i was thinking the same way last night. There is no way he was clinically dead for 20 mins and not have some type of brain damage

I feel really bad for Lawler right now. Yes I wanted him to stop commentating because I thought he was horrible doing the role that he was playing, but not at the expense of his ability to properly live the rest of his life. When being clinically dead, it's rare that anyone doesn't get brain damage after being in that state for three minutes. Being like that for 20 minutes, Lawler won't ever live a normal life again unless a miracle happens. Forget the fact that he's retiring from his job, now he will need accommodations to do pretty much anything, and I hate the idea of that.
