Re: Have you ever considered training to become a wrestler?
Your childhood dream is to join a fake sport. We all have to grow up at some point.

Calling it like I see it. For the sake of childhood nostalgia I hope they fix the business because at the rate they are going at the WWE will be dead well within our lifetimes.

Re: Have you ever considered training to become a wrestler?
I'd like to do something like wrestling/MMA for the insane training purposes, but I don't think I could ever pursue it as a career. Plus, I'd have to be pretty ****ing amazing to make it a decent profession with me being from England.

I'd rather entertain with wrestling than MMA. Don't really want to get punched in the face, ribs broken, and arms broken to make some money all while having to train my ass off every single day. I'd rather take bumps, live on the road, and make people smile. Sorry it's fake. You guys don't like wrestling, I don't like Prince. Are we even?

Re: Have you ever considered training to become a wrestler?
Wrestling has some of the most ****ed up, juiced up, emotionally unstable ****ed up people with anger problems. I don't know if you are, but I'm not the type to explode into a violent rage at random moments.
Wrestling is probably worse than MMA. At least in MMA you have a chance. In wrestling, if the producer says you get hit in the face with a chair, you'll have to hope the guy misses your teeth.

Re: Have you ever considered training to become a wrestler?
I thought about it when I was still in my teens. When I was 16 a friend of mine and I went to a local indy company (Midwest Wrestling Federation), because they had an under-18 training program - a once-a-week program for kids to mess around with. It was neat - but never really took it seriously. Of course back then I was 130 pounds sopping wet, so the average-build guys there were enough to intimidate me.
Now that I'm 27? I'm certain I'm physically capable, considering other things I've done. But even at 27 I'm of the "I'm too old to try that shit" opinion. On the other hand - I would do MMA training, BJJ specifically. I've done it for a period of 3+ months before and it was a great workout. No interest in competing, but just rolling and working is a ****ing amazing workout.
