This makes sense and i dont get why the WWE doesnt do this. Last years Rock vs. Cena was hyped as once in a lifetime so why do it again? Punk should be involved somehow instead of some random ass match with The Undertaker. The build up to WM makes no sense now it seems like the matches that are rumored are just gonna be thrown together at the last second

Well, looks like Cena wins the Rumble and challenges Rock. Orton turns heel and goes after Sheamoose. And we get Punk and Undertaker.

Punk and Undertaker has a chance to be a great match, Punk's gonna have us believing he'll beat the streak, but I'm not sure how he'll make the GTS look good.

As far as why they don't do Rock/Cena/Punk threeway, maybe because Taker won't have a decent opponent. I think building up Punk over the past 420+ days makes him a legitimate opponent for Taker.

I'm not a huge fan of having a main event rematch and another rematch on the card, but that's kind of WWE's thing these days.

Agreed.

I'm not sure I have much interest in anything with Rock right now other than against Punk, but that's just because Punk.

If the WWE does this then they are idiots. Plain and simple. They are blowing away a huge opportunity with Punk's historic title reign if they just have him drop it to the Rock of all people. It's an idiotic business decision, no matter what way you look at it.

Punk's had his reign, we don't need a 2 or 4 year WWE Champion. Punk's legacy has been established and it will be the longest reign in the modern era for a long time.

It sucks but it gives the WWE more attention from the media.

And with Rock not around every week maybe some legitimacy can be brought back to the World Heavyweight.

I'm not suggesting that they do this. I'm suggesting that they have Punk beat the Rock at RR, go into Wrestlemania as Champion, and rather than face someone like Cena, face someone who hasn't been a world champion yet and have him beat Cm Punk. You can't just waste away this title reign by giving it to the Rock, it's retarded.
