I feel like every Bret Hart interview just makes me like him less, good thing I haven't read his book.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
From what I've heard on the Internet about it, he basically was just stroking his ego most of the time. Is that at all true?

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
There is alot of that, especially when talking about the screwjob, basically jerking himself off as the guy that made the wwf and how vince owed him more for all he had done for him, which is funny to me because i always sided with vince and shawn on that whole situation. I now feel more vindicated for those thoughts with all the shit bret spouts off now, he feels like he is above the business and i wouldn't be suprised if it was even worse when he was actually on top. As for the rest of the book it is still worth a read, he tells a lot of good stories and has great info on his family.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
Once Bret left WWF to Join WCW be became overrated
He never had that magic he had in WWF and become a afterthought in WCW

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
Bret has even admitted that only Vince knew how to use him properly and that he wasted in wcw because they didnt know how to utilize his character properly. Bret was just a big of a Vince McMahon creation as any major star they have ever had.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
If you watch the interview, Bret is referring to Hunters in-ring capabilities. Triple H could put on a good match but he was no amazing technician or anything. Bret Hart is probably right, he probably doesn't belong in the Top 1000 "in-ring" performers of all-time. That doesn't make you a bad wrestler though, theres many other categories (look, charisma, mic skills) that Triple H ranks very highly in that make up for that.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
I just dont buy it, i am not a pro wrestler myself so this is just an outside opinion. Triple H is a very good technical wrestler, there were never alot of botches and most of his matches were very smooth. He is far from a Daniel Bryan or a Chris Benoit in terms of grappling but Bret is lumping in there with the Kamala's, One Man Gangs and Great Khalis of the world.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"
I really love Bret as a performer/wrestler, one of the best ever. Even met him at a book store & shook his hand back in 2010 during Wrestlemania weekend here. Really nice guy in person! But god damn he can be delusional! H's not in the top 1000 wrestlers ever? Nonsense! I'm not even a HHH fan at ALL, but for Hart to make such a ridiculous statement is just asinine!
