I know there are alot of people that aren't HHH fans but for him to be so critical for almost no reason screams mental incompetence to me. You want to say HHH isnt a top 10 wrestler of all time fine but saying Hunter isn't a top 1000 wrestler is a joke of epic proportions
Yeah, if he keeps it up he won't be back, and honestly I have no problem with it. You don't get to the spot HHH got to in his prime without being one of the best. Also, the fact that he never succumbed to any vices while his friends were all struggling with drugs is something to be said about him as a man.

I feel like every Bret Hart interview just makes me like him less, good thing I haven't read his book.

I have read his book and it is excellent... but now i question some of the things he said in it due to his recent behavior.

From what I've heard on the Internet about it, he basically was just stroking his ego most of the time. Is that at all true?

There is alot of that, especially when talking about the screwjob, basically jerking himself off as the guy that made the wwf and how vince owed him more for all he had done for him, which is funny to me because i always sided with vince and shawn on that whole situation. I now feel more vindicated for those thoughts with all the shit bret spouts off now, he feels like he is above the business and i wouldn't be suprised if it was even worse when he was actually on top. As for the rest of the book it is still worth a read, he tells a lot of good stories and has great info on his family.

Ironically the overrated HHH and the dick Shawn Michaels little DX invention played a massive role in that boom.

While he was in WCW main event fight all the greats for that World Title! Oh wait he was on the midcard with the US title

Bret has even admitted that only Vince knew how to use him properly and that he wasted in wcw because they didnt know how to utilize his character properly. Bret was just a big of a Vince McMahon creation as any major star they have ever had.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"

If you watch the interview, Bret is referring to Hunters in-ring capabilities. Triple H could put on a good match but he was no amazing technician or anything. Bret Hart is probably right, he probably doesn't belong in the Top 1000 "in-ring" performers of all-time. That doesn't make you a bad wrestler though, theres many other categories (look, charisma, mic skills) that Triple H ranks very highly in that make up for that.

That makes more senese, but I've never really seen much that would indicate that he isn't above average technically speaking.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"

I just dont buy it, i am not a pro wrestler myself so this is just an outside opinion. Triple H is a very good technical wrestler, there were never alot of botches and most of his matches were very smooth. He is far from a Daniel Bryan or a Chris Benoit in terms of grappling but Bret is lumping in there with the Kamala's, One Man Gangs and Great Khalis of the world.

Re: Bret Hart: "Triple H kinda overrated, never had a great match"

I really love Bret as a performer/wrestler, one of the best ever. Even met him at a book store & shook his hand back in 2010 during Wrestlemania weekend here. Really nice guy in person! But god damn he can be delusional! H's not in the top 1000 wrestlers ever? Nonsense! I'm not even a HHH fan at ALL, but for Hart to make such a ridiculous statement is just asinine!
