Zach's NBA Thread
Yes it is true that I am not here just for EBB!! Come and talk about your thoughts on trades, teams, owners, David Stern and such. Only under the circumstance that there be no posts arguing over Kobe and T-Mac. Enjoy.

Well let's start shall we?
The Phoenix Suns are the best team in the league for now. Amare Stoudamire is playing beyond words and Stevie Nash is obviously the MVP. At 31-4, the Suns are on pace to win 70 games this year. Now we all know that the February schedule will change this but it is still conceivable. So to Jerry Colangelo, I tip my hat at you.

Nice post, Orlando kicked Minny out of the playoffs and a lot of the "better" teams lost
Phoenix, Dallas and Sonics all lost and Miami only just beat the Warriors

Yeah. New Jersey probably put up one of the worst overtime efforts I have seen in a while. Four points. Pitiful.

Well, it appears yesterday's big game was the Cleveland @ Los Angeles Lakers. With Kobe Bryant going down in the first half with only 2 points the Lakers were still able to beat the Cavaliers led by Lamar Odom's 24 points and 7 Assists. LeBron James was the game's leading scorer with 28 points.
Yesterday's Scores
Cleveland Cavaliers 94
Los Angeles Lakers 98
Utah Jazz 93
Sacramento Kings 107
New Jersey Nets 85
ouston Rockets 94 - OT

Game of the Day
Dallas @ San Antonio
Two of the best teams in the West face-off in San Antonio tonight. The Spurs, led by All-NBA Forward/Center Tim Duncan (21.9 PPG, 11.8 RPG), head into tonights game with a 5 game cushion over Dallas, led by All-Star Forward/Center Dirk Nowitzki(26.9 PPG, 9.8 RPG). Dallas' Josh Howard is once again out for tonights contest due to an Upper Respiratory Infection and Mavs Guard Marquis Daniels is still out with an ankle sprain. The San Antonio Spurs have no injuries to report.
The Rest of Today's Games
Phoenix Suns @ Indiana Pacers
Toronto Raptors @ Philadelphia 76ers
Memphis Grizzlies @ Charlotte Bobcats
Atlanta Hawks @ Boston Celtics
Portland Trailblazers @ New Orleans Hornets
Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Denver Nuggets
Golden State Warriors @ Seattle Supersonics
Miami Heat @ Los Angeles Clippers
