This thread is all about me and what I think at the time.

Shall we begin.

First Topic: I hate people. I really do. Everyone is stupid until proven otherwise. How is it that there are Americans who do not know who our President and Vice President are yet seemingly anyone with a 5th grade education in any other country can pretty much recite the entire cabinet? Honestly. People talk about what's wrong with America is the war or the debate on gay marriage, etc. NO!! What is wrong is our educational system. Somewhere down the road the student is calling the shots and in return rely on athletics to be someone. At least that is how it seems. Over half of my high school graduating class went to college on Athletic scholarships. Out of those 15, one, I repeat, one had a scholarship to a four year college. Fourteen graduates, off to junior and community colleges to play basketball or football for two years and then not take their Associates degree and try to get into a four year school. They will be sitting around doing nothing and in 20 years I will be putting them and their family members behind bars. Why? Because I love the law and I believe if someone breaks the law they need to pay the penalty. I know for a fact that the kids from my high school have no drive or determination and that will come back to bite them in the ***.

Politicians are stupid. They have been worthless for years now. And when I say politicians, I don't just mean senators and what not. I mean all politicians. Of all the topics that are important today, why do they still debate gay marriage. How about they get off of their soapboxes for 10 minutes and pay attention.(Ted Kennedy) What is so hard to figure out about gay marriage. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Or is it? Could marriage be between a man and a man, or how about a woman and a woman? Personally, I don't care. Marriage is between two consenting AMERICAN CITIZENS. It is a constitutional right. Deal with it. The day the Republicans and Democrats stop arguing with each other and work together, like in the FDR days, will be the day that I shave my entire body. Because it will never happen for some reason. Everyone is filled with so much damn pride it would kill their ego if they worked with someone from a different color state. Seriously, shut the **** up, work together and fix what is supposed to be the greatest country in the world.

The Modern Athlete is a disgrace. What happened to the days when people would play for one team for 20 years because they loved it there and would take the salary offered to them? Now, athletes play somewhere for five years, say they love the place, and then say that they hope the organization can afford to keep them. I am a huge Red Sox fan. If I had the talent to play baseball in the majors, that would be awesome. I would love to play for the Red Sox. Hypothetically, let's say I do and I am very good. If it is a contract year and Boston can only afford to offer me around $5 Million, that's more than I need. I would play with a minor league contract. That's called loyalty. It is not in sports anymore. What team is going to be giving A-Rod that $30 Million per contract next year? Why doesn't he go where his heart is and make that small $25 Million per? Why is JaMarcus Russell not signed yet? Most #1 picks get around seven to ten million a year. That's more than anyone needs. Shut up, take the deal and get your *** out there on the field so you can practice. Thus concluding my view of the modern athlete.
