To play in the NBA?

a. Become 6'10''
b. Become Draymond Green
c. Get a time machine and go back to the 90s, where he'd probably have been an NBA vet.

Absent those two things, probably go to Europe/Asia

I'd second Europe. He might as well make some actual money. Is he in China? I see conflicting reports

Cavaliers to work out Vermont star Anthony Lamb - 5/6/19

2019 Pre-Draft Workouts: Day Three Photos (Atlanta Hawks) - 5/3/19

Draft Workouts: Raptors, Lamb, Sixers, Hawks
- 5/6/19

Vermont junior forward Anthony Lamb (Vermont) will work out for the Cavaliers and Celtics this week, Michael Scotto of The Athletic tweets. Lamb previously worked out for the Hawks. Lamb averaged 21.2 PPG and 7.8 RPG in his junior season.
Doing what he said he would do... getting feedback.

What a great opportunity for Lamb. Getting invites to rub elbows with NBA scouts from three teams and playing against other high level talent. This should give him a big boost going into next year.

IF Lamby was to play in the NBA, what position do you see him fitting into?

Would he be a wing? Is he an off ball guard? Is he a super undersized big man?

I could see him playing a PJ Tucker type role. A defense first, undersized big man.

In a more likely scenario, in Europe he'll probably continue to play the same 3/4 position that he already plays.

If his perimeter shooting continues to progress and he works on ball handling/quickness and ability to drive from the 3pt line he could be a legit SF, He's 6'6'' and his length and strength are all already there.

There's absolutely no chance players at his height can play in the paint anymore in today's NBA.

Re: America East NBA Workouts

I think he'll be a defense-minded frontcourt player. "Undersized" I supposed but that's all relative.

Size in today's NBA has become disconnected from position. Look at Marcus Smart, a 6'3" guy of average strength but naturally plays more as a frontcourt player and of course Draymond Green (who's 6'5"; that's a hill I'm willing to die on).

Then there's KD, Ben Simmons, Giannis (and even Lebron) who are all massive and/or have massive wingspans but all play more like guards. The term "unorthodox" is frequently thrown around to describe these situations but I feel its too commonplace to have 6'4" PFs and 6'9" PGs in the NBA today to call it as such. That said, I still acknowledge Giannis is paired up with Brooks Lopez, Simmons with Embiid, who are more traditional big men.

Then there's also what a player is listed as versus his actual role on the court. Smart is listed as a PG but I find it very difficult for one to argue he plays like a PG.

Guess we'll find out in a year or two!

If he plays in 1 NBA game, you have to donate $10 to the UVM basketball team in honor of Will Brown...

Just for fun...deal! LOL but...it has to be a regular season or playoff NBA game and he needs to play at least 1 minute. None of this pre-season BS where guys get invited as practice fodder.

I'm not trying to be mean, he doesn't have the length, athleticism or foot speed to play at that level.

That's a fair assessment. It's just that the green and gold glasses tint things for me.
