Same, same. I don't like them but I'm just more indifferent nowadays than actively disliking them.

My solution: I'd rather play another D1 opponent on the road and/or just pay more for season tickets then have a sub-D1 home game in regular season.

Re: 2019-20 Vermont Catamounts

I can live with a d3 opponent once a year, however I wish it was a $5 dollar ticket. I don’t know how it works behind the scenes. Does UVM pay these schools? If so how much? Are there more competitive teams we could bring in from Canada? This is a good problem to have. It’s been mentioned already, but teams don’t like coming here to lose. In the past there would be no problems scheduling a team that felt like they would pick up an easy win in Burlington. One good thing about the d3 games is that we get to see everyone play. And everyone looks good. Then we brag about how good our 12th man is lol.

Re: 2019-20 Vermont Catamounts

Before a trip out west I once priced some MBB tickets at different schools in case we were in the area. UVM tickets are dirt-cheap in comparison to what I found. For example, New Mexico had the gall to ask $135 for nose-bleed tickets and $500 for court-side.

We are so spoiled.....

OK, I just checked the UNM site and they have $199 season tickets for behind-the-post seats, so either my memory is bad or I got scalper's prices.

In either case, UVM tickets are still cheaper.

Cheaper? yes. I doubt your sitting on wooden bleachers at the Pit though.

I don't sit on wooden bleachers directly. WCAX gifted me a world class situpon and it works perfectly at many locations. WCAX may be distributing these pieces of heaven at an early home game this season. I hope so because I could use another.

Does anyone know the grounds on which Demuth was granted a waiver?

Since the waiver was unusual and the reason has not been forthcoming I guess the details are considered a sensitive matter and will respect Demuth's privacy.

I'm not entirely convinced the reason for the waiver wasn't "because we asked for it." The way waivers are, and aren't, handed out these days makes me think that he didn't necessarily need a more traditional "reason."

30.Anthony Lamb Senior Forward Vermont

Vermont had another great season as they won the American East and made the NCAA Tournament while having a great statistical season from Anthony Lamb. Lamb averaged 21.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last year as a junior, which helped him win American East Player of the year. Look for him to have a similar statistical season and Vermont should once again be the heavy favorite to win the American East Conference and make the NCAA Tournament.
Sigh... at least they're consistent..

I've said this before, but at some point this is the conference's fault for not just naming the league "American East."

Kinda puffy. I don't think they know much about AL, but I'm happy he's on the radar anyway.
