When did JMU start commanding themselves to be a buy-game?

They needed some Home games and offered a very nice package.

No return?

Actually, who am I kidding? We're still waiting for their return from our win there in 2016.

Apparently Maine will also be travelling to Charlottesville to play honorary America East member Virginia.

I wonder if Merrimack ends up on all of our schedules this year.

Even after winning a national title, is UVA still trying to compensate for something by beating every AE team it can get its hands on (UVM, SBU, Maine)?

Virginia is losing a massive amount of its talent next season, so suspect it wants to do its best to pad schedule with Ws. Hunter, Jerome, Guy all going pro. Far and away UVAs 3 best players, and 3 of the best players in college bball last season.

It will return Clark, Diakitie, and Key who is a solid trio, and I think they have a couple of blue-chip kids signed up, so will see how they do, but if I'm being honest on June 11th, 2019 on paper UVM has just as much, if not more factoring Lamb, talent returning and I kinda like us right now in this game against the defending champs.

Not for nothing, they also added Marquette's Sam Hauser as a grad transfer. He good.

I hope you are right, and you can squeak out a win. I am thinking its typical UVM delusion talking though.

Hauser actually isn’t a grad transfer; he has to sit 2019-20, so he won’t be eligible for Virginia until their return game in 2020-21 at the Tarrant Center 😉
