Well, it looks like we have a grad transfer player that the NCAA ruled permanently ineligible and we are still providing a scholarship next season and not just a scholarship one of the thirteen basketball scholarships...

Chasing Ghosts: John Calipari Left, and UMass Basketball Died

Throughout the offseason, ESPN will take a closer look at the programs that have faced the challenge of moving on from a single historically revered coach, evaluating the successes and failures along the way.

This week, the "Chasing Ghosts" series continues with the UMass Minutemen, a perennial top-25 team in the '90s that faded from the scene soon after John Calipari led the program to the Final Four.

Not too sure about this article but I do like the VCU mentions at the end

Re: Around the League

Regarding above ESPN article/\

OMG, Doing it again, but the truth is the bb folks are a solid core, vocal and think they should be driving the bus, but really - we have not been in the A10 Championship game since Bruiser did it and they fired him.

UMass has a HUGE band wagon following and if BB picks up it will be crazy. The sad part is this vocal bb group do not show it with their cash based on a recent fund raising events. The band wagon effect shows as hockey was #1 , but the difference in BB is sad. To be fair, a lot of donations are made to the all sports Minutemen Club.

1. Hockey $ 55,892.16
2. Gridiron $ 53,712.58
....
7. Court Club $ 12,063.06

You're playing Tenn and Florida State this year, and next.
