I canít fíing do it.
I agree on all counts, though the specific thread I was referring to, while incorporating some of your elements, is the antithesis of rock bottom pessimism.

That is the way of the Buffalo Bills fan.

Anything good happen? Playoffs. Super Bowl. Jump through burning tables.

Rough patch? Self-deprication. Impending doom. Shiva cometh. Jump through burning tables.

You forgot.. something good happens.. it's gotta end, we're gonna get screwed, player X is gonna leave, coach is gonna bolt.

Great one. Iím not sure how I forgot that since itís probably what annoys me most.

Itís equal parts ďchests puffed outĒ and ďweíre not worthyĒ... and very reactionary.

Yeah... itís probably just a general human behavior (or general sports fan) thing and not unique to Bona fans, but it gets so frustrating to read when one cares about the content/topic at hand.

A lot of the problems stem from board organization (lack of sufficient sub-forums, etc.) and the time commitment necessary for aggressive moderation to keep people on topic and in the right forum.

Over there, youíll see non-hoops threads about non-revenue sports, enrollment, Olean/local issues, local rivals, basketball camps, high school sports, wearing Bona gear in public, and a litany of other off-topic prompts.

Yeah, I think you're right that it's just a typical reality of most programs/sports fans. But equally as frustrating when having to weed out all of the non-relevant stuff or flat-out wrong posts thrown out all over the place.

I definitely voted the Bonnies to make a Final 4 run in that silly poll

I couldn't find the National Champion option. So I abstained.

My right to vote was taken away. How about a Bannedwagon Suffrage Movement?

So what do you guys think? We land Dearring and it puts us in the final 4? Don’t land him and it’s only the Sweet 16? If we don’t land him, is it Sister Margaret’s and the Fort Duquesne crowd’s fault?

What is really funny is your name came up recently on the BW asking where you had gone because you had good info. res, in very res like fashion, cryptically alluded to your multiple suspensions

Yeah. Saying the beat writer (who was sitting and laughing with me at the bar as I posted) died from writing bad ledes is, apparently, a no-no for the new moderator.
