lol... I think the same thing as well...

Me and Petey had a convo though and his point in bringing the RPG in was to generate more posts. There's still time to see if it will bring in more posters and get them to post often, or will take current high posting members and make them post less.

I think it will bring in new members, hence more posts.
And I partially agree that if your team is losing or boring at some point, expect a lower number of posts as there's nothing interesting to talk about.
Introducing a different area of interest will make that member stay in the site, hence maybe post there. So basically, you're just moving the eggs around.

I'm not sure what the admin's philosophy are regarding the success of this site, like what metrics are being used. Is it the number of hits/views, members, topics, posts, etc.?
