Tyrus/Harrington trade heating up

KC:

Quote:
League sources said the Bulls and Knicks have renewed talks that stalled in early December on a Tyrus Thomas for Al Harrington swap. Other Bulls' salaries would need to be included to make the trade work.

The Bulls continue to shop Thomas aggressively, including as part of larger deals involving John Salmons or Kirk Hinrich. The Bulls have told teams they are seeking expiring contracts and draft picks.

League sources also said the Bulls remain in dialogue with the Rockets for the $23 million expiring contract of Tracy McGrady.
We are still in the running for McGrady as well.

I like the Knicks trade. True, AL cant play D, but he can shoot the 3, and can score! His pick and pop would be welcomed. I like this trade better than the Blazers trade and Nuggets.

We somehow get McGrady as well, this team will be a scoring threat. Derricks assists will suddenly improve.

Re: Tyrus/Harrington trade heating up

I can definitely see going for McGrady...

He opens up a lot of money for us at the end of the year...

There are better things to hope in than the Bulls, but its fun to try, anyway.

Adding Jerome James from the Bulls end would just about match things up, I think.

I am sure Jerome James would have to be included. Maybe add pargo as well.

Why did they want to do it in December? I suppose the reason remains the same.

Re: Tyrus/Harrington trade heating up

Id rather take the trade with the spurs in the other proposal.
